So this is another excerpt....
Tell me dear reader have you ever been in love...? The kind of love that makes you insane" One minute you are riding this amazing wave of power and beauty and the next you are planted face first in the sand. The timeless dance of heaven versus hell that we all crave and hate at the same time. Here I am a part of me dying inside to make all things better and everyone happy and whatever road I turn down is the wrong one.So a dear friend gave me this as a link and it is adequate and appropriate for this passage...
Now while the beat is slow
Here in your arms I sway
Now that the light is low
Something I want to say
I guess you've known it for a while
But I mean trouble
I only want to see you smile
And I burst this bubble
The hardest thing is to let go
When love is real...
Like a flower loves a bee
But I know you're meant to give yourself to someone else
Not me
And I could carry on with you
Does that sound crazy?
I think you feel the same way too
And you can't face it
The hardest thing is to let go
But it's not defeat
When you set somebody free
And I know you're meant to be yourself with someone else
Not me
Can you let go?
'Cause that's love that's real
Like a flower loves a bee
And you know you're meant to give yourself to someone else
Not me
Somebody else not me
Meant for somebody else not me
Somebody else not me
Duran Duran...

Standing by the globe in the Library's drawing room, Joah stands on tiptoe to retrieve a slim volume on blood magicks she has promised to Amanda. As she turns from the stacks, she sees the young lycan, Celtic, head bent over a pile of books, one slim finger tracing the text in a dusty volume, furiously copying notes with the other hand as she reads. Joah looks at her fondly, touched by her willingness to help Delrith overcome the curse that tortures his form. She wonders if Celtic knows how precious she is becoming to all in the Institute, wonders if she knows how her dark beauty has captured Denenthorn's heart...his Black Celtic Rose....
